Personalised Domed Labels – FAQs
1. Can each label have a different name?
Yes. You can supply a list of names, and we will personalise each label accordingly.
Please ensure that spellings are checked carefully before we go to print.
2. How do I supply the names or text?
You can paste your list into the notes field when placing your order. Once we’ve quoted you can email us a typed list (ideally one name per line).
We will confirm everything with you before printing.
3. What sizes and shapes are available?
We offer a range of standard sizes and shapes, and we can also quote on custom sizes if needed.
Rectangles and ovals are the most popular for diary nameplates, but crest and badge shapes are also possible.
We also recommend slightly rounded corners as this prevents corners curling upwards – it also looks much nicer.
4. Are the personalised labels waterproof and durable?
Yes. The domed resin coating is waterproof and highly durable, making the labels suitable for
everyday handling on books, devices and cases. They can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth.
5. Are the domed labels solid or flexible?
The domed resin coating is soft and flexible, not hard or rigid. The resin forms a smooth, cushioned, slightly bendable dome. However, for the best long-term adhesion and appearance, we recommend applying these labels to a flat, non-curved surface.
6. What surfaces do they stick to best?
They adhere best to smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces such as laminated covers, plastic,
coated board, metal and glass. If you are unsure about a particular surface, you are welcome
to ask us for advice.
7. What is the typical turnaround time?
Most personalised domed label orders are completed within 2–5 working days after
final approval of your names and layout, depending on quantity and complexity.
